The Biodiversity Research and Training Forum (BRTF), is a non-governmental, non-profitable, national level organization, which is legally registered in Government of Nepal at District Administration Office, Kaski and Social Welfare Council (SWC), Kathmandu, Nepal in 2002. The Biodiversity Research and Training Forum has been dedicated to conservation of biodiversity and ecosystems since 2002. BRTF is established for sustainable development and conservation of Biodiversity through research, training, awareness programme and developing human capacity towards the biodiversity conservation. It works with community by involving and encouraging them for biodiversity conservation.

We are working for Research and Conservation of Wildlife, Plants and its sustainable use, Develop human capacity towards the Biodiversity conservation, Improvement of living standard of grass root level people of Nepal through the sustainable use of Non-timber forest product (NTFPs), Conservation of biodiversity from negatives drivers like climate change, wild fire, diseases and pests, human interferences etc.

To conserve the Biodiversity

Focused Working Area:
Threatened fauna and flora, which are prioritized by IUCN red data list, CITES, RAMSAR, CBD, WWF, UNEP and Government of Nepal.

Our Objectives

Research and Conservation of Wildlife.

Research and Conservation of Plants and its sustainable use.

Develop human capacity towards the Biodiversity conservation.

Improvement of living standard of grass root level people of Nepal through the sustainable use of Non-timber forest product (NTFPs)

Conservation of biodiversity from negatives drivers like climate change, wild fire, diseases and pests, human interferences etc.
